Judith Moule is a contemporary British landscape painter and printer. She was born in London, and in 2002 attained a Bachelor of Arts Hons. at the University of Hertfordshire, before undertaking a Diploma Course in Personal Development in Printing at West Herts College, Watford. Judith also studied the human form at the Prince of Wales Trust in London. Having taught in schools at both primary and secondary levels for some years, she now teaches adults part-time. She works from her studio in St. Albans and exhibits regularly. Her work is held in private collections both at home and abroad.
Judith’s paintings are a statement about the land, or sea, and are based on an exploration in a semi-abstract form. She evokes a sense of energy and atmosphere with use of colour and mark making to record the textures and traces within the natural landscape, a human experience of the land rather than its material presence – a sense of place.
