“My work is greatly influenced by the countries and continents in which I have lived and travelled to in my life. In my paintings I recall the colours, smells and textures of these places, and the feelings brought back by the memories of houses, landscapes and seascapes.
My artwork is quite versatile and a mixture of abstract and semi-figurative. I like switching between different ways of expressing my ideas, whether it’s by the medium or the ground I use, or the colours. Colour is very important to me as it so well evokes atmosphere and mood.
I also often work in digital media, combining the 2 disciplines of painting and photography to create unique and original images.
